Victoria Mo

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer Ten Lives

Victoria Mo is the co-founder of Terraferma (Ten Lives), a biotechnology company founded in 2022 that is using AI to build the most productive strain platform in biology to enable the most sustainable animal proteins for pet food. With a background in machine learning, Victoria brings a rare combination of technical depth and product intuition, translating complex biological systems into scalable, cost-efficient solutions. She partnered with her co-founder Ruby Yu (Harvard, UCSF) to tackle one of the biggest challenges in precision fermentation: increasing yields to dramatically reduce production costs. After initially exploring tools to support fermentation companies, the team identified a strong opportunity to develop their own products, leading them into the pet food market, an ideal proving ground due to its cost sensitivity.
