Jason Ryder

Jason Ryder is a bioprocess engineer, entrepreneur, and educator with deep experience spanning process and product development, engineering design, scale-up, and commercialization across industrial biotech and food tech. He is the Founder and CTO of Oobli, where he leads R&D and engineering to develop and scale sweet proteins that replace sugar in food and beverages. His work has covered small molecules to proteins, with applications in sustainable chemicals, materials, fuels, and foods. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at UC Berkeley, teaching bioprocess fundamentals and applications to the next generation of engineers.
